Our History

The Good Samaritan Council (#6175) of the Knights of Columbus was founded on June 24, 1969. We are here because our charter members Henry Carr, James T. Kelly, William J. McCabe, William M. (Bill) Obenauer, Kenneth D. Pullis, James J. Romano and Reverend Julius Zehler wanted to serve their Church, community and family with virtue. We proudly serve the parish of Saint Joseph (Herndon, VA) in Northern Virginia and our Council has over 200 members serving our community.
